Assalamualaikum

I want to share this ayah with you guys.
What do you think when you read this?

And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' " (Ibrahim, 14:7)

I would say that Allah is being fair to every human being. When we get something that we need or want, it is only right that we feel grateful to Allah. However, is it only enough with JUST saying Alhamdulillah?
No, it is not.

For example, when our parents give us something that we really REALLY want, let say iphone. What do we do after that? We say thank you and promise to be a good daughter, right? And we do try our best to please them after that to show that we are grateful for getting the iphone.

What about Allah? He give us body. He give us brain. He give us emotion. Name it and you'll see that you have it. So, what have we done to show that we are thankful to Allah, our Lord for all the favour that He give us? Something to ponder..

And not only that. In this ayah, Allah has PROMISE us that if we are thankless, He will give punish us. If you guys think that punishment that our teachers at school gave to us such as do our incomplete homework at the corridor where everyone including our crush can see us is the most embarrassing moment in our school life, you will get the worst moment in Hereafter and perhaps it will start in dunya.

So, what are we waiting for everyone? We don't want to be like this, do we?

Truly man was created very impatient; Fretful when evil touches him; And niggardly when good reaches him (Al Ma'arij: 19-21)

Untill I write again.

See ya.
